Osun NUJ to induct prominent Nigerians into Hall of Fame

The Nigeria Union of journalists, Osun State council will on Thursday hold 2020 edition of induction into NUJ Hall of Fame.

 

A statement by the Chairman of the union Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu and Secretary comrade Bukola Elufadejin indicates that the event which holds at NUJ press centre,Osogbo by eleven o’clock in the morning would be chaired by a former Chairman of the union and the General Manager of Kings FM, Ibadan, Pastor Kayode Akinsola.

 

The statement notes that the royal fathers of the day include the Olufon of Ifon Orolu, Oba Moroof Magbagbeola and Loja of ibodi,Oba Omisade Agboluaje while the State Head of Service, Mr Oyegbade Olowogboyega is the special guest of honour.

 

It also states that the Executive Director of Centre of Black Culture and International Understanding, a professor of history, Siyan Oyeweso will speak on the paper titled National Security Challenges in the Face of Recession, Long Road to Nation Building.

 

The statement notes that a former Secretary of NUJ in Osun State and Ogun state commandant of the NSCDC, Alhaji Hammed Bodunrin; A member, House of representatives, Honourable Lawrence Ayeni; the Chairman of Atakumosa Local Government, Honourable Femi Kujenbola and the chairman of AAF Foundation, Engineer Adedapo Adelowokan would be inducted into the NUJ Hall of Fame.

 

Others to be inducted include, the regional head,Ibadan Electricity distribution Company in Osun State, Mr Akinleye Ogunleye and the chairman SUBEB, Hon Isreal Famurewa.
