Oyetola felicitates Alakija @70, says she is a worthy role model

Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State has felicitated business mogul and Chancellor of the State University, Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija, on her 70th birthday anniversary.

In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, Governor Oyetola described Alakija as a worthy role model and an inspiration to the children and youth of Osun.

The Governor further said ”On this landmark occasion of your Platinum Jubilee birthday, I carry with me the goodwill and best wishes of the Government and People of the State Osun to felicitate you and thank the Almighty God for the expression of His Grace to you and the entire members of your family.

“Yours has been a life dedicated to God and humanity and the dividends of these deliberate decisions are glaring for the universe to see, appreciate and emulate.

“I therefore toast to a global Amazon whose life is predicated on and defined by excellence and service to humanity. I celebrate a woman whose philosophy and ideals typify the Omoluabi ethos and complement the Development Agenda of our Administration.

“Others call you Dr. (Mrs.) Folorunso Alakija, but we in the State of Osun name you Madam Philanthropy, Integrity, Entrepreneurship and Due Process all rolled into one, on account of the humongous contributions you have made towards making Osun of now and of generations to come a State to envy.

“We thank you for being a worthy role model, mentor and an inspiration to our children, youths, our people and our Government.

“On behalf of the Government and the People of the State of Osun, I congratulate you as you step out gloriously today as the youngest Septuagenarian and wish you long life, good health and many more years of business and entrepreneurship excellence and service to mankind.“
