Police Rescue Kidnapped Student in Osun

The Osun State command of the Nigeria Police has rescued a 25-year-old student of the State College of Health Technology, Ilesa, Rukayat Bayonle from kidnappers.

She was kidnapped by five men, who invaded students’ hall of residence at Olomilagbala Area, Ilesa and took her to the bush.

A release signed and made available to newsmen in Osogbo by the command Police Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola, confirmed that the lady was rescued safely and that she was fine.

“Upon a distress call that a lady was abducted, the Commissioner of Police, CP Olawale Olokode, drafted a combined team of police Tactical Unit, JTF and other security outfits to the area to rescue her.

“The rescue team entered the bush where she was being held and engaged them for three hours and successfully rescued her unhurt” the release added.
