Osun Nulge president Com, Dr Ogungbangbe Nathaniel kehinde and the members of his executive have sent warmest Ramadan greetings to all Muslims in the local government.
The greetings was sent in a Ramadan fasting message delivered to Daily Mail on Sunday.
Comrade Ogungbangbe said “I extend my heartfelt wishes to all Muslims observing Ramadan for a month filled with joy, peace, and spiritual renewal. May the blessings of this holy month illuminate our hearts and homes, and may we emerge from it as better individuals and a stronger nation.”
According to him “Ramadan is the festive month during which Muslims around the globe reflect on and renew their faith. Muslims honor each day of Ramadan as a day of patient endurance through fasting and each night as a night of gratitude through prayers.
“Ramadan is also a month of giving, as Muslims reach out to assist in promoting tolerance and building understanding among religious communities.
“To all our Muslim friends in local government, I send my warmest Ramadan greetings. May this month of blessings be a time of contemplation and celebration,” he said.
