Remains of Odumakin Committed to mother earth

Remains of late human right activist and public commentator, Comrade Yinka Odumakin who died on the 3rd of April has finally been laid to rest .
Before his interment, the lying-in-state and funeral service were observed in a Christian way in his hometown in Moro, lfe North in Osun state
Processional service for the lying in state was led by popular Christian author and Evangelist, Rev. Francis Wale Oke who also conducted the interment and prayers for the family of the deceased.
The event featured series of activities to pay the departed soul a deserving last respect.
Speaking, Leader of Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere, Ayo Adebanjo charged Nigerians to cultivate the spirit of service to the nation like the late Odumakin by being steady and consistent in upholding the philosophy of progressives ideologies for the progress of the country.
Like .Governo Fayemi of Ekiti state, Pa Adebanjo canvassed unrelenting campaign for restructuring to consolidate the unity of Nigeria.
He averred that refusal by authorities to allow restructuring will continue to breed more agents of secessionists across regions in the nation.
The funeral service was graced by governor Oyetola of Osun state, governors of Oyo, Ekiti and others, as well as Ooni of lfe and other traditional rulers, OPC national leader, Gani Adams, including various government officials.
Late Odumakin’s was commitment to emancipation of the oppressed, his resilience for national development and a United democratic Nigeria, including his active political roles under National Democratic Coalition, NADECO was re-echoed.
His wife, Joe Odumakin and other progressive proponents reaffirmed to carry on from where the late public analyst stopped.
