‘RUWESA will benefit from federal Legislature partnership’ – Lanre Odelade

The Special Adviser to Governor Ademola jackson Nurudeen Adeleke on Rural Water and Environmental Sanitation, RUWESA, Hon Lanre Odelade is optimistic that the open door policy of Osun state government will facilitate more feasible development of rural communities in the state.

He stated this today when he received the Deputy Chairman,House Committe on housing and habitat in the House of Representatives, Hon Lanre Oladebo Omoleye.

The Special Adviser RUWESA disclosed that current efforts to rebrand the Agency are designed to increase its capacity to meet it’s mandate to it’s development partners.

He solicited the assistance of the lawmaker in areas relevant to the functions of RUWESA as such affects Provision of portable water and environmental sanitation, considered as visible dividends of democracy.

In his response,the federal Legislator noted the sterling performance of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s Administration in infrastructural and human resource development, particularly in the Provision of wholesome water I the 322 wards of the state.

Hon Lanre Omoleye promised to use his good offices to complement Government activities in this and other areas of need for rural dwellers in Osun state.

The lawmaker was accompanied by chieftains of the peoples Democratic Party in Isokan- Ayedaade-federal Constituency of the state led by its Chairman, Him Akeem Yusuf,Hon kola Agarawu, Ambassador Akin Oladebo and Mr Abeeb Bayo.
