Saraki hails Makinde Oyetola over LAUTECH ownership resolution
Former President of the Senate, Abubakar Bukola Saraki has commended Governor Seyi AMakinde of Oyo and Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun States for resolving the LAUTECH ownership tussle between the two States.
Saraki in a tweet on Tuesday commended both Governors for putting the needs of the students first, and working together across party lines to find an amicable solution to the prolonged ownership crisis that has plagued LAUTECH for many years.
“I recall that in 2017 when the university was shut for about two years, I intervened in the matter and held meetings with lecturers, students and alumni of the great institution.
“The 8th Senate also passed a motion on the need for the quick resolution of the crisis. Today, all of us can rejoice that the great institution is about to regain its old glory.
“Kudos again to the two Governors!” Saraki tweeted.
