The emergence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the President- elect, Federal Republic of Nigeria has been described as long overdue when situated against his enormous track records as a former Lagos state governor and Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Consequently his election by Nigerians during the recently held 25th February 2023 Presidential election has, no doubt, further re-energised the hope and aspirations of the people of Nigeria that the country is indeed inching towards an enviable pedestal.
The President, Patriotic Club of Obaagun, (PATCO) Chief (Mrs) Maryam Olaniyi stated these in a congratulatory message to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on behalf of the Executive, Board of trustees and members of Patriotic Club of Obaagun (PATCO), a non political but socio-cultural club of all sons and daughters of Obaagun land in Ifelodun local government area of Osun state .
In the congratulatory message titled Asiwaju,a leader after our hearts, Chief (Mrs) Olaniyi who is also the Yeyemofin of Obaagun land noted with joy and satisfaction that the incoming Tinubu Presidency portends a great hope, peace and development for the people of Ñigeria.
According to Chief Mrs Olaniyi, “Asiwajus glittering track records as a two term governor of Lagos state and senator of the federal republic of Nigeria in addition to his great foresight and rich experiences at both national and international levels , are no doubt ,salient qualities required of any patriotic Nigerian like Tinubu to govern Nigeria.
“In Patriotic Club of Obaagun (Patco) and Obaagun land ,a peaceful and fast growing ancient community in Ifelodun local government area of Osun state, we are glad and fulfilled with the realization that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,the Jagaban Borgu is the next President of Nigeria.
“To this end,we are impressed and convinced to beat our chests by saying that Tinubu has all it takes; knowledge, wisdom,ideas, experience, national and international connections to steer the ship of Nigeria to the desired destination.
