Two Man Gang Rapists Not Igbajo Poly Students – Management
The Management of Igbajo Polytechnic, Igbajo says a two man rapist gang recently apprehended by the law enforcement agents are not students of the institution.
In a statement signed and made available to the Daily Mail by the registrar of the polytechnic, Mrs. Bukola Odetola, the management desceibed the news circulating in the social media as totally incorrect and misrepresentation of fact.
The statement reads in part: “the attention of the Management of Igbajo Polytechnic, Igbajo has been drawn to the news circulating on the social media linking the institution with the two man gang rapists, recently apprehended by the law enforcement agents.
“We hereby, through this medium, disclaim this purported linkage of our institution with this onerous act, and state as follows:
“One of the two men, Mr. Adegoroye Afeez was admitted to Igbajo Polytechnic, Igbajo in the year 2015 for his National Diploma (ND) programme.
“He did not complete his registration as our student and has since left the school. Therefore Mr. Adegoroye Afeez is not our bonafide student.
“The second man, Mr. Olamilekan Elijah has nothing to do with our Institution, as no records to show that he was our student.
“Mr. Adegoroye Afeez claimed that he joined Alora cultist group 2 years ago, meaning that he joined the group after he had left our Institution.
“The Management of Igbajo Polytechnic, Igbajo hereby reiterates that Mr. Adegoroye Afeez is NOT our student, and he is DISCLAIMED accordingly.”
