It is time we stopped pretending & called it what it is. The era of seeing breast/nipple as private part is speedily phasing out in Africa. The promoters & the practitioners of this trend are not relenting in their recruitment exercise, as their targets are adolescents. All gratitude to social media that birthed lots of platforms where this is promoted.

Hardly is there a household that has no young lady, married woman or single mum that’s involved in this transition.

There are levels to this trend. There is a level of back the camera, show the cleavage, flaunt braless boobs with nipples covered, wear sheer dress without bra, go topless, and the zenith of it all – *go nude* in the name of birthday, pre-weddings, baby shower, etc

*Which of the above levels are you/your daughter’s currently operating?*

No matter the level you currently operate my dear, your becoming a champion lies in *going nude*. That is the peak of this trend, path & career you’ve embarked on.

Many would tell you that it’s fashion while some would even give history of how ancient African women used to go around topless. I’ve read argument for and against associating the trend with feminism: *‘Men have breasts/nipples, if they could go out without a bra why shouldn’t a woman?’*

As a parent who cares less of how your daughter appears on social media platforms, the kind of postures she flaunts, the dresses she wears, and the videos she shoots/uploads on Instagram and Tiktok, I hope you’ll be glad the day she finally *goes nude*, because that’s the target.

As for those making reference to the ancient times to justify this trend, I greet you and await the day you’ll ask us to go back to the past of slavery, owning women as property, culture of killing twins, Arabian culture of burying female child etc.

Even Adam and Eve/Awwau felt ashamed in mere hearing the Voice of their Lord. They ran looking for leaves to cover their nakedness. We would all agree to the fact that this history predated other histories, but we could still identify the fact that they were ashamed to flaunt their nudity before their Creator, not anyone else o ??‍♂️

I’ll like to make references to the personality of those who did and promoted *nudity, bralessness/toplessness*, and allow you to ponder on whether that’s the kind of the person you dream to become in life.

*Nell Gwyn* was the long-time *mistress* of *King Charles II*, King of Scoland, England and Ireland from 1649 until 1660, and one of the *most celebrated actresses* of her days. She was painted with *both breasts fully exposed*, which was more common in the costumed world of theatre, plays and ballets. – I believe you know what *MISTRESS* means ?

In mid 80s, a popular *porn star* came out to openly declare that *breasts and nipples are not private parts*. In fact, she went further to say that: *‘labia majora and minora shouldn’t be covered as they are simply the peripherals of the sexual tube or vag*na*

In August 2015, *Phoenix Feeley* was arrested in New York City for being *topless* in public. *She was later released and received $28,000 in damages* because *female toplessness had been legal in NYC for almost 15 years*. Kindly do the calculation and ask: *What is the motive behind legislating it?

In December 2013, a frustrated Esco started the *#FreeTheNipple* movement, which aims to desexualize the nipple in the eyes of Western society.

In February 2014, *Kendall Jenner* posted a photo of herself from Marc Jacob’s runway show at New York Fashion Week. She was wearing a *sheer blouse*, and the photo was promptly removed from *Instagram*.

In April 2014, *Rihanna* posted her *topless* NSFW cover of French Magazine – *Lui*, which resulted in her being briefly suspended from *Instagram*

In September 2015, *Naomi Campbell* posted a *topless photo* of herself from a Garage Magazine shoot and hashtaged it *#FreeTheNipple*.

Now, look into your country, *who are those promoting this trend?*. They are mainly *Entertainers* – *Actresses, Porn Stars, and Sex Hawkers*

Are those your Models? Should we believe that your dream is to become one of those? We have mothers that also flaunt their nude pictures on social platforms. Men need to be aware of their babe’s dream – *Caveat Emptor*.

We men are now fighting the war of identifying *uncorrupted ladies from sex hawkers*. Even, as at 2014 that I worked with *304 Female Sex Workers* under a World Bank Project, none of them did I see without a bra outside their brothels.

Dear pretentious Nudists, kindly do better by identifying with the class you truly belong. Let’s know you’re now a *Sex Hawker* and we shall respect you for it. It would further earn you more clients than just merely showing us your boobs, nipples, and nudity via photos, videos, Instagram and Tiktok to attract *Followers* that won’t pay you a *dime*. Come out!!!

As for the ladies that belong to the class of Adam and Eve/Awwau, I wish you know how men are dying to seeing what you cover. Many of us imagine how you’ll look without cloth. That imagination is a push that makes us love to have you as a spouse. As you’re covered outwardly, it is our hope that your chastity is beyond the outer garment. *Thank you ?* for being the option we (real men) look out for…
