We’re Committed To Gov Adeleke’s Agenda For Osun – LG Ministry Commissioner
…Says grassroots will feel government impact

Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Barr. Dosu Babatunde has reaffirmed the commitment of his Ministy to the Agenda of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration for the people of Osun State.
The Commissioner stated this while featuring on a program tagged: ‘Platform’ on OSBC radio, Oke Baale Osogbo.
Hon. Babatunde stated that the Ministy of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, being the Executive’s supervisory arm on all Local Governments in the State would encourage the Local Governments to embark on developmental programmes that would bring succour to the people of grassroots.
He said the massive infrastructure, like good roads, electricity and all good things of life would be recorded simultaneously in all the Local Governments in the State, emphasising that the current administration would not paralyze the activities of the Local Government system in the State.
Barr. Babatunde assured the people of the grassrootss that the caretaker chairmen would surely key into Governor Adeleke’s agenda which is to make life better for the people of the grassroots.
He however advised heads of local government to boost their Internally Generated Revenue through various activities at their various Local Governments to enable them have more funds to develop their Council areas.
The Commissioner was accompanied by the Special Adviser on Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Adam Akintunde Akindeere, Special Adviser on Local Government Affairs, Hon. Oluwasegun Godday Olije, Director of Local Government and Inspectorate, Mr. Adelabu Tajudeen and Director of Finance and Account, Mr. Olalekan Joseph Jimoh.
