The Ondo State Government has lifted the 24 hour curfew earlier imposed in the wake of the #EndSARS protests in the State, the state governor Rotimi Akeredolu has announced.

According to the Governor, the lifting takes effect from Saturday, October 24, 2020.

He said the relative peace in the capital, is encouraging just as the people’s resolve, especially the youths, not to allow brigandage under any guise is equally palpable.

Akeredolu stressed that only law abiding residents are allowed to go about their legitimate businesses.

“The relative peace in the capital, is very encouraging just as the people’s resolve, especially the youths, not to allow brigandage under any guise is equally palpable. It is, therefore, only normal that law abiding residents are allowed to go about their legitimate businesses” the Governor said.
