Strategic Engagement Tour: Oyetola Storms Ife/Modakeke
The Strategic Engagement tour of Governor Gboyega Oyetola to all local governments in the state continue today Wednesday 26th of January, ,2022 with visits to Area Office, Modakeke-Ife, Ife East and Ife Central Local governments.
A release signed by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, Oluomo Sunday Akere, stated the tour tagged “Have you in mind always” will begin at St. Stephen B Primary School, Our Lady Junction, Modakeke-Ife by 11.00am. and move to Enuwa Square, Ile Ife where party members and leaders in Ife East and Ife Central Local governments will jointly host the Governor Mr Adegboyega Oyetola.
According to the release, among leaders expected to receive the Governor are former Deputy Governors Senator Otunba Iyiola Omisore , Sooko Adeleke Adewoyin, Senator Babajide Omoworare, Engr. Awotorebo (former Minister of Water Resources), Alh. Taju Lawal (APC State Deputy Chairman), Alh. Fatai Kolawole amongst others.
I noted that traditional rulers in the local governments being visited are also to gather at the palaces of the Ogunsua of Modakeke-Ife and HIM Ooni of Ife where they will offer royal blessing to Mr Governor and his team.
It also added that all party members, political office holders and leaders in the local governments being visited are to attend as a matter of importance.
