‘Gov Adeleke Completed 92 Micro Projects Within 100 Days In office’ – Ganiyu Ola-Oluwa
In his bid to rejuvenate critical sectors and in line with his 5 points action plan agenda, Governor Ademola Adeleke, has so far completed 92 micro projects across the state.
Commissiner for Rural Development and Community Affairs, Hon. Ganiyu Ola Oluwa dropped the hint during an on the spot inspection tour of all the completed projects by the present administration done through Community and Social Development Agency.
The Commissioner who expressed happiness over the development described it as a very rare feat which can only be carried out by a government that is desirous of making a good headway in the governance of its people.
The Commissioner recalled with regret that prior to the intervention of Adeleke led administration,there was nothing concrete on ground to point to which could be ascribed as people oriented projects by the immediate past admin in the state .
As matter of reciprocation in line with the popular saying that says to whom much is given,much is expected,Hon.Ola Oluwa called on the different communities that benefitted from the largesse to put the projects into efficient use at all times .
The OlaOluwa led team during the visit had an opportunity to inspect the already renovated block of two classrooms with two offices at NUD Primary School, Eekosin, a block of two classrooms with two offices at Asiyanbi Memorial Primary School, Inisa, new functional reticulated borehole at Arowomole, Isale Osun, Osogbo and a reticulated borehole at Olode Ibadehin, Ede,which the Commissioner applauded with immense satisfaction.
Earlier in her remarks, the General Manager, Community and Social Development Agency, Mrs Funmi Abokede, thanked Governor Ademola Adeleke for his magnanimity in being supportive to her agency since he came on board the governance of Osun state as its governor.
According to her, the present administration in the last couple of months has made its impacts felt more in the lives of the people of different communities.
Just like Hon.Ola-Oluwa had easier said, Mrs Abokede also used the opportunity to enjoin the beneficiaries to protect and monitor the projects for the overall development of their respective areas .
The Commissioner’s inspection team also had the Special Adviser to the Governor on RAMP, Hon Moji Omisore, Special Adviser to the Governor on CSDA, Mr Nurudeen Emiloju, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Rural Development and Community Affairs, Mr Richard Oyegbami and other career and non career officers of the Ministry among others .
