Osun NUJ mourns the death of Business Icon, Raifu Olaiya.

The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Osun State Council has described the death of late business mogul,Alhaji Raifu Olaiya as a rude shock .

A statement by the Chairman of the Union ,Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu and Secretary Comrade Adeyemi Aboderin noted that late Olaiya was a great philanthropist who dedicated his life to the service of God and Humanity.

The statement hinted that late Raifu Olaiya was two years ago honoured by the state NUJ for his consistent support to the union in the last twenty years and for humanity.

It maintained that the union would forever remain indebted to late Raifu Olaiya for his love and passion for Journalists in the state as the late business Icon always showed love to anything that has to do with Journalism profession.

It is the prayer of the union that God will give the family fortitude to bear the loss.

Aged 78, the 8th day fidau prayers will hold in Osogbo on Sunday at his residence .
