Obasanjo’s Administration: period of national restoration – Atiku

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has said the government of former president Olusagun Obasanjo remains the best the country has ever had.

Atiku maintained that the fact are there for all to cross check saying facts ‘don’t lie’.

The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2019 Presidential election said the country under Obasanjo’s administration maintain an unprecedented 6% annual GDP growth.

He also reminded Nigerians that the government paid off the country’s entire foreign debts between 1999 and 2007, Nigeria paid off her entire foreign debt.

The Tiraki Adamawa described the periods as times of national restoration.

Atiku said he is always proud of the work he did alongside President Obasanjo and for the nation which they care so much for.

“Between 1999 and 2007, Nigeria paid off her entire foreign debt while maintaining an unprecedented 6% annual GDP growth”.

“Those were periods of national restoration, and I am very proud of the work President Obasanjo and I did for this nation we care so much for. Facts don’t lie”.
