President Buhari presents N13.08 trillion to National Assembly

President Mohammodu Buhari has on Thursday presented the 13.08 trillion naira budget proposal for the year 2021 before the National Assembly.

 

Senate President Ahmad Lawan who had invited President Muhammadu Buhari to present his address for the 2021 Appropriation Bill thanked members of the National Assembly for fulfilling that promise by working assiduously towards achieving that promise

 

He said the same vigor would be applied to the 2021 Appropriation Bill as presented.

 

The President of the Senate promised that the National Assembly will pass the 2021 budget before the end of the year.
He added that the 2021 budget will consolidate on the gains of the 2020 budget.
He also promised that the legislative arm will do a thorough job on the budget.
