Adire Eleko Osun Association Congratulates Gov Adeleke

The Adire Eleko Osun Association has congratulated Senator Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke on his inauguration as the sixth Executive Governor of the State.

In a statement issued by the General Secretary of the Association, Emeka Nwodo, the group rejoiced with his excellency after regaining his mandate after 4 years and prayed God to assist him in putting Osun forward.

According to the statement “It’s necessary to emphasize that Osun State is endowed with versatile and talented adire makers who are neglected and marginalized in the scheme of things in the State. We are calling on our people’s choice Governor to invest in Adire Industry to create employment for 100,000 youths, create enabling environment for the industry to survive, and empower the adire makers in Osun State.

“It’s time to lift Osun’s tourism potential through the Adire industry and turn the State into a golden opportunity to drive the Osun economy positively, woo more international investors and corporate entities to the State, increase the State GDP and collaborate with the stakeholders in the state.

“Developing adire industry in the state will portend good omen to actualize the six-point agenda set by your government,” the statement added.

“The Adire Eleko Osun Association is an independent professional adire textile maker comprised of young ones who have been excelling in adire industry in the state to generate youth employment via adire textile making and collaborating with the state government in developing the industry positively. We also have a huge membership base in all local government areas of the state. We are prepared and willing to actively support and partner with your government for success and shared prosperity. Over the years, we have been playing pivotal roles in the economy of Osun State and mentoring a new generation of resilient young ones.

“It is our prayer that God grant you wisdom as you pilot the affairs of Osun State for the best,” the statement concluded.
