A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Osun state, Chief Lanre Odelade has charged people to exude optimism despite the economic challenges in the country.
In a Christmas and new year message made available to newsmen today,he appreciated the enormous sacrifices of Nigerians in the face of daunting socio-economic and political problems confronting them.
The Special Adviser on Rural Water and Enviromental Sanitation Agency advised Nigerians to exercise discretion in electing those who seek their mandates in subsequent elections to ensure that the country is governed by God fearing men.
Chief Odelade particularly thanked Indigenes and residents of Osun state for keeping faith with Governor Ademola Adeleke and the ruling Peoples Democratic Party in their avowed commitment to lifting the state from the doldrums which the APC governments  plunged her for twelve years.
The Special Adviser said with the remarkable achievements of Governor Adeleke in two years of his administration, better days await the people of Osun state.
