Breaking: INEC Declares Tinubu Winner Of 2023 Presidential Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has declared Asiwaju Bola Tinubu the winner of 2023 Presidential Election held on Saturday 25 February.

INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmud Abubakar announced Asiwaju Tinubu the winner “having satisfied the requirements of law.”

The All Progressives, APC candidate polled 8,794,726 votes to defeat his closesest rival, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP who 6,984520 votes.

Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP came third after polling 6,101,533 while the candidate of New Nigerian People’s Party, NNPP, Rabiu Kwakwanso who polled 1496687 to come fourth.

Asiwaju Tinubu, the president-elect, former vice president Atiku Abubakar and Obi all won in 12 states of the federation including the Federal Capital Territory, FCT while Kwakwanso won in one State.
