Chief Akande Congratulates Osun APC Acting Chairman
…Urges him to embrace aggrieved members
The Chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) Chief Bisi Akande has congratulated new acting Chairman of the party in Osun state, Prince Tajudeen Lawal while playing host on him and his entourage in his home town Ila-Orangun.
Chief Akande equally urged Lawal to brace up and face the challenges before him and the party, saying the party will bounce back in no distance time,
Akande charged him to work hard and ensure that all aggrieved members who ready for reconciliation are brought back into the fold.
In a closed door meeting which lasted about 3hours was meant to resolve crisis in the party and chat a way forward to retrieve the mandate of the party in the last governorship Election.
Prince Lawal said Ila-orangun was his first point of contact after his announcement as the acting chairman of APC in the state.
While speaking with journalists shortly after the close door, he said ” I came to greet my father and to pay him a visit after my pronouncement as acting chairman of the party in the state, and a lot were discussed concerning development of our party in the state and other political issues.” He noted
He said, since he has come to Ila-orangun other leaders would be consulted for the progress of the party.
He also ensured the people of the state to be calmed, adding that the party would come back victorious at the Election tribunal petition.
