Easter: Uniosun Teaching Hospital CMD Felicitates Staff, Patients
As the whole world is marking Easter festivities, the Chief Medical Director, UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital, Osogbo, Professor Peter Babatunde Olaitan has felicitated with the staff in the hospital.
Olaitan said there is much to learn in the crucification, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ which, essentially is to show love to humanity. It is therefore pertinent to spread love to one another most especially our esteemed patients and their relations. This calls forward humility and sacrifice in the discharge of their duties at all times.
In a statement by the Public Relations Officers of the Hospital, Ayodele Adeyemo, the CMD said it behoves on all categories of staff in their duties to ensure that all the patients are well attended to and are treated with respect and honour.
While soliciting for the continuous cooperation and support of all members of staff, Professor Olaitan congratulated all members of staff on the Easter Celebration and prays that the reason for Christ’s death will not be in vain.
He appreciates the interest of the state government in the health and welfare of the people of Osun State as demonstrated in the continuous support of the governor, Gboyega Oyetola, to the hospital.
The Chief Medical Director enjoined all both staff and general public to comply with the COVID-19 rules and protocols during the festive period and other times in order to control further spread of the virus.
