The Ede Elders Council, Igbimo Agbaagba Omo Ilu Ede has congratulated Dr Deji Adeleke  for the construction of a new power generation company by Pacific Energy, a subsidiary of Pacific Holdings,  with a promising potential of generation of 1,250 megawatts capacity in Ajebamidele, Ondo State.

The Ede Elders commend the managerial prowess exhibited by the business mogul in the management of the existing Omotoso Power Plant in Ondo and Olorunsogo Power Plant in Ogun State which  are clear testimonials of unparalleled competence of Pacific Holdings in power generation industry.

A release by the Director of Publicity
Ede Elders Council, Chief Ayodele Adeyemo notes that with the completion of the latest power Plant, it is real that Pacific Energy will now be the largest power producer in Nigeria.

The release adds that the project has a soothing potential of transforming the hitherto parlous power supply in a country where Power generation and distribution are more of a mirage than a reality. We expect a resuscitation of both economic and social rebirth of our country.

As Ede Elders Council commends the bold and patriotic invement in the power sector, they then call on the Federal Government to ensure that indigenous companies are encouraged and well protected from political vagaries.

While congratulating and wishing Dr Deji Adeleke more blessings, the Elders Council says “we  are proud of you as an Ede indigene with uncommon humane philantrophy”.
