Igbajo Poly Congratulates BoT Chair, Awomolo on Emergence As Vice Chair, Body of Benchers
The authorities of Igbajo Polytechnic have congratulated the School Chairman, Board of Trustee, (BoT), Asiwaju Adegboyega Awomolo SAN who recently emerged, Vice Chairman of the Body of Benchers as the Body undergoes a transition to a new leadership.
In a statement issued and made available on Friday, the school authorities acknowledged the capacity and capability of Asiwaju Awomolo to be successful in his latest appointment prayed God to continue to grant him the enablement to be more successful.
Awomolo’s emergence follows the elevation of the immediate-past Vice Chairperson, Honourable Justice Mary Peter Odili (Rtd) to the office of Chairman of the August body.
Asiwaju Adegboyega Awomolo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and Life Bencher is a fellow of the Nigeria Institute of Advance Legal Studies and Chartered Institute of Arbitration. A respected member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ilorin Chapter. A member of the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee (LPDC).A member of the National Executive Council of the Nigerian Bar Association and life bencher.
He’s an active member of the international Bar Association and the Commonwealth Lawyer Association. He’s the Chief Executive Officer of The Awomolo and Associates where his adorable wife, Chief Mrs Olufunmilayo Awomolo who also became SAN in the year 2013 works as the managing counsel and his practice areas include: tribunal, criminal law, aviation, banking, insurance among others.
He was also the first Attorney General of Osun and was elevated to the rank of SAN in 1992
