‘I’m running to serve the less privileged’ – Bosede Oyebode, ADC Reps. Candidate

… As party vows to spring surprises in 2023 general elections nationwide

The candidate of African Democratic Congress, ADC in Ayedaade/Irewole/Isokan federal constituency, Bosede Oyebode has said the plights of less privileged in the society informed her decision to run in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

She spoke in Gbongan, the headquarters of Ayedaade local government area of Osun State during the official inauguration of her campaign ahead next year election.

Oyebode said her focus would be on the youths, the aged, the widows and other less privilege in the constituency if elected into the green chamber.

She added that, to proffer solutions to some of the anomalies identified in the constituency would be her ultimate gain.

“I have looked at our people in this constituency, I have seen all the anomaly going on. Our people deserve more that what we see around. Being one of them, I feel their pains and what they are going through. I want to run because of them. Why is it that political leaders are leaving the widows, the orphans and others behind?

“If I’m elected as their representative by the grace of God, my focus would be on the widows, the youth, the aged and other less privileged. They need our support and we are ready to give them, Oyebode said.


The State chairman of the party, Dr Charles Omidiji said the ADC has strategised at both the state and national levels and has presented seasoned and trustworthy candidates that Nigeria needs at this time for the 2023 general election.

He said the party is ready and determined to record landmark achievements at both state and national levels comes next general elections.

Omidiji said “We have our cardinal programmes. Our cardinal programmes include education, agriculture and economy. We are going to do things differently because in this country, the only way we can survive is through agriculture which is the focus of our party.

Also, the State Chairman, Osun ADC Board of Trustee, Ganiyu Olanrewaju said it is time for Nigerians do away with political parties that have dominated the space for many years without taking the country to the promise land.

“Some people believe that we have only two parties in Nigeria but we want to prove to them that ADC is existing. That’s why we are coming out fully. Very soon after the next elections, we will have House of Representatives members, Senators and House of Assembly members.
