Iragbiji Community Hands Over Multimillion Naira Court Complex To Osun Judiciary
The Iragbiji community in Boripe Local Government area of Osun State has handed over the High and Magistrate Court complex its built to the State Judiciary.
Equipped with necessary facilities, the 130 million naira fully funded project by the Iragbiji indigenes was embarked upon in 2022.
The community was granted the approval to build the complex after necessary requirements were met in accordance with provision of section 31 sub section 1 of the Osun State High Court laws.
The official handing over which was done by the Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Oba Abdulrasheed Olabomi, took place within the complex on Friday.
Accompanied by other judges and magistrates, the State Chief, Justice Adepele Ojo inaugurated the new Courts Complex.
Justice Adepele Ojo commended the Iragbiji Community for building a benefiting court complex for the judiciary.
She said the facilities would provide a leap in the administration of justice in the State.
The project, according to Oba Olabomi, was a product of communal spirit and determination of Iragbiji people.
He said, with the construction of the court complex, residents of Iragbiji and its environ would not need to travel to Osogbo or elsewhere to seek legal redress when the need arises.
The monarch called on the State Judiciary to make good use of the complex in discharging their duties effectively and to also protect and maintain the facilities.
