Officers capacity building: CYMS hails Nigeria Police Force, call for more support
The Committee of Youth on Mobilization and Sensitisation (CYMS) has commended the Nigeria Police Force for the efforts and commitment to building capacity of its senior officers through relevant programs, courses and training.
The CYMS’s Director General, Mr Obinna Nwaka gave the commendation during the ceremony and graduation of 40 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPS) trained on Strategic Leadership and Command Course held at Police Institute, Abuja.
The ceremony had in attendance the Acting Inspector General of Police Usman Alkali Baba, Minister of Police Affairs Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Danmallam Mohammed.
Also, in attendance were the Director General of National Institute of Police Studies (NIPS) Prof Olu Ogunsakin, and Grace Longe an Assistant Commissioner of Police.
The Deputy Inspector General of Police incharge of Department of Training and Development Danmallam Mohammed, thanked the youth leader for attending the occasion while the NIPS’s DG, Olu Ogunsakin assured the CYMS’s DG Obinna Nwaka of a good working relationship to ensure public sensitisation.
