Old Students Association Felicitates Alimi, Ayofe on Appointments

The national body of Old Students Association of Ede Muslim Grammar School, Ede, has congratulated two of its members, Alahji Kola Alimi and Hon. Maruf Ayofe on their new political appointments by the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke.

This is contained in a release signed by the President of the Association, Alhaji Rasaq Olatunde Bello and the Public Relations Officer Com. AbdulRaheem Tijani Adekilekun.

The statement described the appointment of Alhaji Kola Alimi popularly called ‘Alagba’ as the Managing Director of Osun State Investment Corporation as a round peg in a round hole considering his wealth of experience in the business world and private sector.

The Old Students Association of Ede Muslim Grammar School said it is confident that Alhjai Alimi will bring his expertise to bear in the running of his new office and replicate what he did to have taken Nestle Nigeria Plc where he rose to the post of National Sales Manager in taking Osun State Investment Corporation to a greater hight.

The release equally congratulated Hon. Maruf Ayofe on his nomination by Senator Adeleke as commissioner-designate in Osun State.
While hoping that the the State House of Assembly will find Hon. Ayofe worthy and confirm his nomination by the Govermor, President of the association said he has no doubt that Hon. Ayofe will perform creditably well to translate the vision of good governnace of Senator Ademola Adeleke into reality in any portfolio assigned to him.

The statement therefore expressed it’s appreciation to Governor Adeleke who is an alumnus of Ede Muslim Grammar School and former President of the Old Students Association himself for counting their members worthy of serving in his Government.

It prayed that God will grant the appointees the solomonic wisdom to succeed in their new offices and pledged their continued support and prayers for the State Government under the leadership of their former President, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke.
