Omisore Joins APC, Registers As Member

The city of Ile-Ife, Osun State on Monday was agog as former gubernatorial candidate of Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the 2018 and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in 2014 governorship Elections, Senator Iyiola Omisore officially joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

He decamped to APC alongside hundreds of his supporters across the state.

Omisore was received into the party by the State Deputy Governor, Mr Benedict Alabi, APC State Chairman, Prince Gboyega Famodun, members of the state executive council and other party’s stalwarts.

Omisore registered as member of the APC at his polling unit, Ward 6 at Moore in Ile-Ife.

He was welcomed to the venue by his teaming loyalists and supporters amidst cheers and jubilations

Party members at the event described the move as momentous for the party, saying Senator Omisore has the political wherewithal and experience to attract good fortunes to the progressives fold in the state.
