One Killed As Gunmen Abduct Passengers In Osun
Gunmen have killed a yet-to-be-identified man and abducted other passengers along Osogbo/Ibokun road, Obokun Local Government Area of Osun State.
Daily Mail learnt that the incident occurred Tuesday night near Ajebandele, a village in Obokun Local Government area, few kilometres to Osogbo, the state capital.
The Field Commander, Amotekun Corps in Osun, Comrade Amitolu Shittu, who was at the scene of the crime, confirmed the incident.
He said the deceased was shot dead by the attackers, whom he said carried AK-47 rifles.
He said search and rescue operation of the abductees had commenced in earnest.
