Osun APC: TOP Members Hold Parallel Ward Congress …anything other than consensus is a comedy – Senate Spokesperson

The ward congress of the All Progressives Congress, APC was mainly affirmation which produced consensual members of executive across the State.

Members of the party gathered at different ward collation centers in Osogbo local government to witness the affirmation of their ward executive as was announced by the leadership of the party as mode of congress adopted.

The mood at the different wards was canival-like as the names were read by congress committee to the waiting members of the party.

The scenario at ward one, Ataoja ‘A’ was a departure of the agreement of the party’s leadership as members of The Osun Progressives known as TOP, a political group loyal to the immediate past governor insisted on and conducted election.

While speaking on the process of the Congress, the Senate Spokesperson, who represent Osun Central, Dr. Ajibola Bashiru said any exercise apart from affirmation of ward executive members as being done in most of the wards is like a comedy.
