Osun First Lady calls for intensive prayers for the Nation

Residents of the state of Osun have been urged not to relent in praying for Nigeria and the state at large for improved prosperity and security inorder to make the society a better place to leave.

Wife of the Governor state of Osun Mrs Kafayat Oyetola stated this during the women inter-religious prayer session held at the state government house, Osogbo.

Mrs Oyetola expressed her happiness to the womenfolk for the large turn out meant to pray for the state and the country at large stating further that she believes in efficacy of prayer because prayer can solves various forms of challenges irrespective of the stage of the problems.

She further charged all Christians and Muslims faithful to live an exemplary life that mirrors the life and virtues of God Almighty inorder to restore the lost glory of the society back.

Mrs Oyetola who use the avenue to xtray various achievement of the present administration under the leadership of Governor Gboyega Oyetola use the opportunity to seek for continuous prayers from the citizen of the state for the present administration for successful tenure and sounding success in the forth coming election in Osun.

While speaking during the prayer programme the wife of the General Oversee of C.A.C ori Oke Baba Abiye Ede, Pastor Mrs Adejoke Akande explained that women have a major role to play in politics urged them to join hands together to support the present administration and ensure peace and tranquility among themselves.

In her own reaction during the inter religious programme, Dr. Latifat Kolawole urged political leaders to always shun backbiting ,hatred in politics but to assist in building their trust and have a peaceful society as we are approaching election period in Osun and Nigeria at large.

Highlights of the event were prayer sessions in both in Islamic and Christian ways for peaceful and successful election in Osun and Nigeria at large.
