Osun Chapter of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, felicitated with the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi on his 55th birthday.

The Association, according to statement by the Chairperson, Comrade Abisola Ariwodola and Secretary Oluwaranti Ojewumi, described him as a grassroot politician, a learned man of depth knowledge with native intelligence, one of the best hands of Governor Ademola Adeleke.

Osun NAWOJ particularly lauded his role as the mouthpiece of the government of Governor Adeleke, role he is exceptionally performing beyond expectations, through numerous programmes projecting positively the activities of the PDP government of the day.

“Oluomo Kolapo Alimi, on this auspicious day of yours, we join numerous well wishers to celebrate you as you become a year older. You are a delightful Commissioner, one of the best so far.”

“Your impressive role is complimentary with the good works of Governor Ademola Adeleke, you are a round peg, in a round hole, fit and creative.”

We pray God protect you and bless your endeavors in this new good year of yours, the statement concluded.
