The Osun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists has joined numerous residents in the state to felicitates Governor Ademola Adeleke on his victory at the Supreme Court.

In a statement by the Chairman,Osun NUJ, Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu and made available to newsmen by Secretary of Osun NUJ, Comrade Adeyemi Aboderin described the victory at the Supreme Court as divine.

The statement noted that the judgement has further revalidated Governor Ademola Adeleke’s mandate freely given him by the people of the state during the July 16 Gubernatorial poll.

Osun NUJ said further that the Supreme Court judgement has reinforce love and confidence the people of the state have in the governor to deliver good governance to the people, while advising him not to deviate from giving people of the state desired dividends of democracy which had eluded them in the years past.

The state council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists however urged the people of the state, irrespective of political affiliation to close ranks and render needed support to Governor Ademola Adeleke to move the state forward and actualise his campaign promises.
It therefore promised to continue to support the administration in actualising it’s plan of rapid development of the state.
