The Nigeria Union of Journalists,Osun State Council has congratulates Osun State Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi on been recognised as one of the Best Four Commissioners Award throughout the country on the basis of an online process, courtesy of an Abuja-based National Leadership Awards Limited.
In a statement by the Chairman of the Union,Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu and Secretary, Comrade Adeyemi Aboderin indicates that the Award was a well deserved honour which he merited due to Oluomo Kolapo Alimi’s competency and commitment to duty.
The statement urged the Commissioner to continue to sustain his social interaction and engagement with the media which earned him this honour, expressing optimism that the honour would further spur him for better performance.
The statement described Oluomo Alimi as a man of impeccable character rooted in intellectualism,adding that what distinguishes the commissioner is the level of accessibility he accords journalists in the State.
It called on the commissioner to continue to promote government policies and activities with a view to showcasing Osun State to the globall community.
