Osun NUJ to induct Eminent Nigerians Into Hall of Fame
The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Osun State Council, will on Thursday induct some eminent Nigerians into its Hall of Fame.
A statement by the Chairman of the union, Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu and the Secretary,Comrade Bukola Elufadejin indicated that the Chairman of APC in Osun state,Prince Adegboyega Famodun and the state Commissioner for Finance,Honourable Bola Oyebamiji, will be inducted at the event.
Others include the Chairman and Chief Executive officer of Sammya Nigeria LTD,Engineer Adigun Sammy Oreoluwa while the Pioneer Chairman of NUJ in Osun state, late Comrade Lekan Awoyemi, will be given posthumous award at the ceremony.
The statement added that the Chairman of league of veteran Journalists, prince Kayode Adedire, is the Chairman of the occasion and the state head of service, Dr Festus Olowogboyega Oyegbade is the special guest of honour.
It maintained that Professor Wasiu Ademola Oyedokun of Federal University, Oye Ekiti will be speaking on the topic “Vote Trading,Implication and prospect of democracy in Nigeria”.
The imperial majesty, Ooni Of ife,Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi is the Royal father of the day while the Chairman of NUJ in Osun state, Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu is the chief host.
