Oyinlola’s wife, Salam, Egbedun, Ogunbiyi, two others confer with Church awards

Wife of the former governor of Osun State, Princess Omolola Oyinlola, the Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun and the Chairman of Public Account Committee, House of Representatives, Hon. Bamidele Salam have been conferred with the awards of Loyal Commander of King’s Army (LCKA).

Others who will be honoured as part of the celebration of the 60th birthday and the 10th Episcopal Enthronement anniversaries of Bishop Seun Adeoye are the Chairman of Mutual Benefits Assurance, Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi, an elder statesman, Dr. Oluwole Alabi and a traditional ruler, the Owamiran of Esa-Oke, Oba Adeyemi Adediran.

According to a statement issued by the Chairman of the event’s Central Planning Committee, Deacon Abiola Niniola, the Awardees were picked from array of names submitted to a Selection Committee that carefully nominated these individuals for the awards.

“The Committee discovered that their lives and works reflected the teachings of Christ through love, compassion, humility, and faithful service. They also listened to the testimonies of people around these persons.

“And in the celebrant’s remark, those selected for the awards are from different political affiliations and different Church denominations but are all one through the blood of Jesus Christ, our Saviour”, he stated.

Niniola explained further that this year’s awards programme is the second to be organized since its inauguration a decade ago and that the names of the honoured individuals are expected to be permanently inscribed in the Hall of Fames’ of Sufficient Grace and Truth International Ministries’ Mount Zion Cathedral.

The events which is slated for Tuesday, February 24th, 2026 at SGTIM, Rehoboth Arena, Okinni will have the Osun State Asiwaju Ademola Adeleke as the Chief Guest of Honour while top clergies, industrialists, politicians, leaders of thoughts and leadership of some professional bodies are expected to grace the occasion.
