Prince Abegunde Canvasses Support For The Needy

Well meaning Nigerians have been urged to always empower the needy in this trying period to make life meaningful for them .

A contender for the stool of Oluoke of Okeigbo in Ondo State, Prince Adewale Abegunde stated this in Okeigbo while giving financial support to some petty traders in the ancient community.

Prince Abegunde noted that the gesture would go a long way to enhance their business activities and change their economic fortune.

He hinted that the financial assistance was not a loan but a grant which is aimed at empowering them especially in the face the current economic challenges facing the country.

Prince Abegunde who used the opportunity to canvass support for the present governor of the state ,Mr Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa reelection called on residents of the community to cast their votes for the governor.

The Prince of Kuole Oloje Ruling House of Okeigbo Kingdom stressed that the people of Okeigbo should allow good governance to continue in the state by supporting the governor and his deputy in the forthcoming gubernatorial election for the benefit of the community.

He stressed further that the support given to the government of the day will go a long way in facilitating swift development in the city

Some of the beneficiaries lauded the gesture saying it would go along way to enhance their business activities.

Present at the occasion include Prince Kola Adelabu, Prince Adedeji, Mr Stephen Adesoji, Mr. Semiu White and Mr. Alaba Adedapo among other people
