See why Osun Assembly summons Police Commissioner

The Osun state commissioner of police, Undie Adie has been summoned to appear before the State House of Assembly over the report of wanton extortion and highhandedness of Special Anti Robbery Squad, SARs officers in the state.

Presided over by the Speaker, Timothy Owoeye, the House resolved at the plenary on Tuesday to invite the Commissioner of Police to a dialogue on the urgent need to curb the menace of harassment and intimidation by men of the command under his watch.

Recalled that reported extortion and harassment of youths by police officer has been the talk of the town in recent time.
