7 Die, One Injures In Osun Road Carnage
Seven people have been reportedly killed in a multiple road accident that occurred on Tuesday along West Bypass in Osogbo, Osun State.
The accident involved a blue colour COMMERCIAL mazda BUS with number plate registration RBC15 ZN; a yellow colour TVS Commercial Tricycle with registered number plate RLG 898 QE and a green colour commercial Bajaj Boxer motorcycle.
In a statement issued by the State spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Agnes Ogungbemi the cause of the accident was attributed to tyre bust which led to loss of control by an upcoming vehicle which rammed on a tricycle conveying the victims.
According to her, four of the victims died on the spot and three out of the injured four persons taken to Osun State University Teaching Hospital later died at the Hospital.
The vehicles involved have been taken to Dugbe Police Station.
