Attack On Gov Oyetola’s Supporters, Journalists Babaric – Babaranti
The acting coordinator of OYE 4 OSUN, Prince Kayode Babaranti has condemned the attack on Governor Oyetola’s supporters and Journalists at Gbongan in Ayedaade local government area in Osun State.
In the statement personally signed by Prince Babaranti and made available to Daily Mail in Osogbo, the attack was described as highly barbaric, wicked and an act of political intolerance.
He also appreciated the Governor for his political maturity in his disposition to the threat of fire for fire politics by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP candidate which manifested in Gbongan on Monday.
He expressed confidence that Oyetola as a peace loving governor would refuse to be provoked by the unguided statement made by Ademola Adeleke during his recent campaign in Osogbo.
Prince Babaranti urged the opposition in the state to stop promoting violence, saying Osun State has been a safe haven for people to live and business to thrive under the watch of Governor Oyetola.
He however called on security agencies to investigate the incident and bring the perpetrators to justice to serve as deterrent on those who were planning to disturb the peace of the State before, during and after the forthcoming July 16 gubernatorial election.
