Two die in Osun Road Accident

Two people have been reportedly killed in an accident that occurred opposite the Mobil filling station Ogo Oluwa area of Osogbo.

The accident involved a Toyota Rav4 Jeep with Reg. No. Abuja kuj 417 DH driven by one Dauda Tewogbade and a Bajaj Motorcycle with Reg No. Osun sub 708 UH whose identity was yet unknown.

The accident occurred when the driver of the jeep was coming from Olaiya area heading towards Abere, on getting to opposite mobile filling station hit the motorcyclist who was allegedly riding against traffic rules.

Narrating the incident in a released, the Police Public Relations Officer, Osun State Command, SP Yemisi Opalola, said “the rider of the motorcycle and his passenger died on the spot. The driver of Rav4 jeep and his friend sustained injuries and were rushed to Uniosun Teaching Hospital Osogbo for treatment while the corpses of the deceased were deposited at the same hospital morgue for autopsy investigation in progress.”
