Ca-Covid palliatives not stored at any of our warehouses – TUNS Farm
The management of TUNS Farms has dispelled the rumors being peddled around that Ca-Covid palliatives are stored at any off their warehouses.
TUNS Farm management however flayed the reported Saturday 24th of October, 2020 looting of their farms by hoodlums
“It is… disheartening to have garnered intelligence reports saying our business operations are being targeted, businesses where over 700 people are direct labor and over 1,500 people are indirectly working at”.
A release signed by its General Manager, Taofeek Badmus clears the air that, the Chairman Asiwaju Tunde Badmus was only appointed as Vice chairman of the Osun state Covid relief committee whose role was to raise money and relief materials.
It adds that, Chief Badmus in his personal capacity donated the sum of five million naira and some relief items.
“He is well known for his philanthropic gestures which has span over decades.
While we wish to state that the Osun state Government through the Ministry of Health approached us for the use of our warehouses, two of the warehouses was again given to them free of charge to store mosquito nets which are being shared across the state to prevent the spread of malaria”
No single kobo was paid for the usage which is over 4-5 months, the statement explained.
It however commiserates with the people on the lack of social justice, just as the management called for peace, orderliness and calm.
“As youths it is up to us not to allow this peaceful agitation be hijacked, we must restrain ourselves from making this matter worse”.
