Continue Acts of Generosity beyond Ramadan – Tunde Badmus Charges Muslims
The Asiwaju Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States, Dr Khamis Olatunde-Badmus has admonished Muslims to redouble their efforts in lending a helping hand to all in need as they did during the 30-day Ramadan fast.
Asiwaju Badmus made the call in his message in commemoration of Eid Ul Fitr celebrations, which marks the end of this year’s Ramadan fast.
The business tycoon observed that more than ever , Nigerians irrespective of faith or tribe need support as a result of the economic restructuring in the country and the global economic challenges.
He reminded Muslims that the Ramadan fast teaches Muslims to re-dedicate themselves to the doctrine of agape love occasioned by the perseverance, hunger , piety, and resilience that Ramadan teaches.
He expressed the hope that the President Ahmed Bola Tinubu administration would take Nigeria out of the woods for the country to experience boom again.
The Asiwaju Musulumi challenged the successful Nigerians to assist the have-nots, adding that engaging in philanthropy does not deplete the blessings given by Allah.
He asked all Nigerians to continue to pray for those in power as their success in office is directly proportional to the comfort of the people in the country.
