Ede Senior Citizens Club Holds Maiden Annual General Meeting

The maiden Annual General Meeting of Ede Senior Citizens Club will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Western Sun International Hotel Ede.
In a statement issued by the Director of Publicity of the club, Chief Ayodele Adeyemo, the first Annual General Meeting would deliberate on the performance of the club and chat a new course for its future projections and developments.
The Ede Senior Citizens Club was floated in 2020 with the actualisation of a shared vision that Ede city deserves a modern club with activities that would promote recreation and longevity.
The club is also to engage in enterprenuerial activities for generating income for its many philanthropic activities.
According to the statement, the maiden Annual General Meeting would be presided over by DIG Adedayo Adeoye Rtd the Chairman of Board of Trustees of the club while Dr Deji Adeleke would be the Chairman of the occassion while His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr Munirudeen Adesola Lawal, Laminisa I, Timi of Ede will be the Royal Father of the Day.
The statement added that there would also be an election of the new executive for the club and a brief Talk on “Good Health and Longevity for the Elderlies and Seniors: Necessary Dos and Donts” by a consultant Genrotologist, Dr Jide Seriki.
