The Nigeria Union of Journalists,Osun State Council will on Wednesday inducts some prominent Nigerians into its Hall of Fame at NUJ Press Centre,Iwo Ibadan Road, Osogbo starting from eleven in the morning.
A statement by the Chairman of the Union,Comrade, Wasiu Ajadosu and Secretary, Comrade Adeyemi Aboderin indicates that Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke is texpected to be the Special Guest of Honour while the Chairman, League of Veteran Journalists in the state,Mr Smollet Adetoyese Shittu-Alamu is the Chairman of the Occasion.
The statement notes that the Elende of Eko-Ende,Oba, Abudulwaheed Babatunde Adekunle will be the Royal Father of the Day and will also be inducted into the union’s Hall of Fame while Osun State Commissioner for information and Public Enlightenment,Oluomo Kolapo Alimi is the Chief Host.
Some prominent Nigerians who includes the Chairman, Board of Osun State University Teaching Hospital, Osogbo , Mr. Niyi Owolade, the Chairman, Osun State Independent Electoral Commission, OSSIEC,Mr. Hashim Abioye and former Chief Press Secretary to Osun State Governor,Mr Ismail Omipidan are also to be inducted into prestigious NUJ Hall of Fame.
Others includes aUS-based Entrepreneur ,Chief Remi Oyeyemi and a reckoned Civil Engineer, Engr. Saheed Soladoye.
