Kafayat Oyetola Presents Gifts to Baby of the Year, Others

A baby boy delivered by one Mrs. Opeyemi Ibrahim is the Osun State baby of the year, 2021.

Delivered at the State Hospital, Asubiaro Osogbo at exactly 1:07am on Friday, 1st of January, 2021, the baby boy weighed 3.2kg at birth.

Wife of the State Governor, Mrs Kafayat Oyetola presented items and cash gifts to not only the first baby but also others who were just give n birth to at the state hospital.

The second baby who was delivered at 11pm.on the new year’s Eve to the family of Mr and Mrs Awosusi, and other three new born babies including a set of twin received various gifts from the first lady

Represented by wife of the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Bosede Oyebamiji, the First lady admonished parents of the babies to take good care of the children and raise them to become better persons in life.

Mrs Oyetola urged women to be supportive to their husband’s efforts in raising God fearing children that would grow and contribute meaningfully to the society.

She encouraged all and sundry on good sanitation just has she promised to intensify campaign against open defecation to prevent the spread of diseases in the State.

She acknowledged the efforts and support of health workers in the fight against COVID-19.

Speaking on behalf of others, mother of the first baby, the 30 year old Opeyemi lbrahim thanked the first Lady for the visit as well as presentation of items and cash gifts to them.
