Osun State University Donates Air Conditioner, TV Set To NUJ
Osun State University, Osogbo has donated Air conditioner and Television set to Nigeria Union of Journalists, Osun Council. to further sustain the relationship between the union and the Ivory tower.
Presenting the material to the union in Osogbo,The deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic, Research, innovation and partnership, Professor Anthony Kola Olusanya said the institution would continue to maintain its social responsibility by creating a good working relationship between the institution and other relevant organisations.
Professor Kola Olusanya urged media Professionals to always exhibit professionalism in the discharge of the duties by promoting the principle of objectivity.
He noted that Osun State University will sustain its leading role in the area of research, discoveries and innovation so as to bridge the gap between the town and the gown.
In his remark,The Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists, Osun State Council, Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu appreciated the University for the gesture, noting that the facilities would create a conducive environment for the workings of the union leadership.
Comrade Ajadosu said the Ivory tower had remained pillar of support for the union and the University would be honoured by the union during NUJ 2023 press week as cooperate institution of the year.
It would be recalled that Osun State University Osogbo had earlier donated computer set to the union.
