The Supreme Court in Abuja on Monday announced that judgment in the legal tussle between Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress, and Ademola Adeleke of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Osun Governorship Election would be delivered tomorrow, Tuesday, 9th of May.
According to report, the final judgement is scheduled to hold by 2:00pm tomorrow.
The judgment would lay to rest the legal battle surrounding the Osun 2022 Governorship election.
The Election Petition Tribunal that sat in Osogbo, the State capital had overturned Adeleke’s declaration as the winner of the July 16 election by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, a decision which was also overturned by the Appeal court that sat in Abuja.
Oyetola had approached the supreme Court to dismiss the appeal and announce him as the winner of the election.
