President Buhari orders land borders reopening

President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the immediate opening of four land borders.

The Personal Assistant to the President on new media, Bashir Ahmad disclosed this on Wednesday evening.

The land borders to be reopened according to Ahmad include Seme, Illela, Maigatari, and Mfun.

 

He said “As approved by the President, four of the country’s land borders; Seme in Lagos, Illela in Sokoto, Maigatari in Jigawa and Mfun in Cross River are now opened. Others will be reopened before Dec. 31st, 2020, Finance, Budget and National Planning Minister, Zainab Ahmed discloses”.
